Our Story
Egypt DFW started with one simple feeling: we wanted home to feel a little closer.
Thousands of Egyptians call Dallas–Fort Worth home — families, students, professionals, business owners, artists, and people from every generation. But we didn’t always have one place that truly brought us together.
So we created Egypt DFW.
What started as a simple social media page quickly became something much bigger: a community where Egyptians can meet, discover events, support local businesses, celebrate our culture, and build new friendships.
Because no matter how far we are from Egypt, we should never feel far from each other.
Our goal is simple: bring Egyptians together and make DFW feel a little more like home.
Adam Matter founded Egypt DFW with a vision of creating something that could bring Egyptians across Dallas–Fort Worth closer together, celebrate the culture we all share, support our community, and create a place where Egyptians of every generation can feel connected and at home.
